Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026. These Terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them carefully — in particular section 2, which defines what our products may and may not be used for.

1. Who we are

Vial Labs supplies research-grade compounds to researchers, laboratories and institutions. Our registered contact details are shown in the footer of this site and on our support page.

2. Research use only — the most important term

All products sold on this website are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory and educational research. They are not medicines, medical devices, food, food supplements or cosmetics, and they are not intended for human or animal consumption or administration in any form.

By placing an order you represent and warrant that:

• you are acquiring the products for legitimate research purposes only;
• you will not administer them to a human or an animal, nor supply them to any third party for that purpose;
• you will not use them in a clinical trial involving human subjects;
• you are appropriately qualified, or working under appropriate supervision, to handle research chemicals safely; and
• you will comply with all laws applicable to you.

This term is fundamental to the agreement. If you cannot give these assurances, you must not place an order.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is higher, and legally permitted to purchase research chemicals where you live.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order after payment has been received. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion — for example where we suspect fraud, where we believe the products may be misused, where stock is unavailable, or where supplying you would breach a law or sanction. If we cancel a paid order, we refund it.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency you select and may change without notice; the price that applies is the one shown at the moment your order is confirmed. Payment is accepted in the cryptocurrencies listed at checkout. The crypto amount quoted for an invoice is calculated at the prevailing exchange rate and is valid for the lifetime of that invoice.

6. Shipping and import

Shipping is covered in our Shipping policy, which forms part of these Terms. You are the importer of record and are responsible for duties, taxes and for ensuring lawful import into your country.

7. Returns

Our Returns policy forms part of these Terms. In summary: because these are sensitive research materials we generally cannot accept returns after dispatch, but we will put right damaged, incorrect, missing or undelivered orders.

8. Product information

We take care to describe our products accurately. Descriptions of mechanisms of action and of published research are provided for scientific information only; they are not claims that a product produces any effect in a human being, and nothing on this site should be read as a therapeutic claim.

9. Warranties and liability

Products are supplied "as is" for research use, without warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from improper storage, handling or use of a product, from any use in breach of section 2, or from any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

You accept full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, lawful possession and disposal of any product you buy.

10. Intellectual property

The content of this website — including product descriptions, articles and images — belongs to us and may not be copied or republished without our permission.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the version published at the time you place your order.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, and the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
